Described as “one of the most significant pieces of work in the field of music on film”  this album was shown to over a billion people around the world in May 1990,  the climax of the 'One World' series on television. 

First Assistant to Director Kevin Godley, he (generously) sent me in his place to Helsinki  to direct sequences with Flamenco-stars The Gypsy Kings and  acclaimed  Indiginous-Sami musician, Marie Boine-Persen.

Ambitiously filming with 250 headline Worldmusic artists across the world, each adding their distinctive beats and vocals to a musical chain tape, the project was aimed at raising awareness of global environmental failure, about which we now have much more awareness.
