Cutting Edge: Nurses

Following student nurses at work and play in Glasgow's Western Infirmary Hospital, this moving and poignant portrait of life and death was the first observational documentary film I directed. Guided by the incredibly supportive Patrick Uden, and shot on 16mm film (by the incredibly talented Chris Morphet),  it attracted over 9 million viewers for Channel 4's flagship documentary strand.
